Elwood Resort & Campground

Ready for next trip to go fishing and hangout. I can't wait till summer and Reggie shows me the great fishing spots.

The grounds are very clean, it is a quiet campground and the owner (Brian) is pleasant and helpful he even went to his house the get a corkscrew for us so we could open a bottle of wine.

My partner and I had a great night tent camping at Elwood! Brian is a super nice campground manager and runs a tight ship. Even though the sites are primarily for RV camping, we found a nice place to pitch our tent. Fire ring and bathrooms were both available. The surrounding nature is beautiful. Truly a hidden gem.

Had a great time camping at Elwood campground. Not a busy facility with people in and out all the time, it was nice and secluded. I felt like Brian did an excellent job servicing our needs. He was readily available and knowledgeable about what the area and surrounding towns had to offer. We brought a few kayaks along and he offered us a place to launch / store them for the night which was very convenient. If your looking for an informal place to stay and enjoy the outdoors give this a try.

Nice clean place owner is very friendly but don’t trust his Friend andneighbor he’s a crook Don’t trust him to get propane for you he’s got a thing about switching tanks one with the screwed up valve
