Hunter Cove Campground

Generally we love COE parks, but not this one. There are very limited views of the lake from many sites and even the landscaping seems designed to block one's view of the water. And once we took a walk to see the lake, it really couldn't be described as particularly lovely. Plus the check-in time is an entirely unreasonable 6:00 p.m.

Great view of the water! $16 per night, for water and electricity. Some full hookups available. Didn't use the bathrooms, but they were open, October 2020.

Amazingly beautiful lake and watershed

Nice place to stay! We stayed close to the entrance,was a little noise,but not bad!

Nice views of lake in spot 21, electric - back in, $24/night. Fishing is good, white bass and catfish. No toxic algae, that warning has been cleared a few weeks ago. September camping islaid back and not crowded like summer camping! We love hunters cove!
