I have ridden the trail from Marysville to Beatrice, it is a very well maintained trail, both on the Kansas and Nebraska side. Most of it, particularly on the Kansas side, is under dense tree canopy, so it is beautifully shaded and good shelter from the wind. There are lots of great views of the river and plenty of wildlife to enjoy, I always see deer every time I ride it. On the Nebraska side there are three good trail heads, with bathrooms and water to replenish your water bottles, and with vehicle access. There are also nice open shelter houses with picnic tables at these trail heads, with lots of signs describing the history of the area. I think it's a beautiful trail and wonderful resource for the people of this area to enjoy.
