One of the first employees I met at Crunch was Shane. He is very personable and a good worker. I always enjoy running into him when I come in to workout. Employees like Shane, make the gym feel welcoming and enjoyable. I highly recommend working out at Crunch Fitness in Newport.
It’s so nice to have a super affordable gym option that isn’t as strict as Planet Fitness. I appreciate the variety of equipment too. The staff has been very friendly; Shane makes us smile every time we come in. Super clean facility, especially during COVID times. Props to the manager there for running a tight ship.
Apparently when you leave a bad review, your membership gets cancelled. Its unfortunate that these are the steps that are taken when a member has an issue or concern with the facility rather than management taking responsibility and the necessary steps to actively correct any concerns. Its funny that this doesn't come from the store manager but rather the Vice President of operations. When cleanliness is a factor, especially during a pandemic, you would think this would be taken more seriously and corrected rather than taken out on the members for voicing the issues.nnLets see if my membership is also cancelled after this review...
Due to Covid the hours changed which is understandable. However, since then the staff has Opened the doors late causing me to not workout due to work. Balancing work and home life the mornings are the only time I can go. They switched the hours so they could clean and due daily maintenance but it’s not any better. Every time the staff comes in they just sit at the front desk and don’t clean the floors, machines, etc. they need to go back to 24/7 if they are not taking any steps to better the gym.
I usually go Tues, Wed, and Thurs at night. I think that Crunch is handling the pandemic nicely. They take your temp at the desk. Very nice place everything is super clean, only like 5 mins from where I live and very stocked on machines, weights, etc. Am really like this gym am going to recommend to everyone. ud83dude01ud83dude01ud83dude01ud83dude01ud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4d
