Great site, the pond is gorgeous. The water definitely tastes pondy so bring a charcoal filter or tablets if you don't want the flavor. Great for hammocks and tents alike. Frogs are LOUD at night but I really enjoy that.
Great site for hammock camping. We stayed in the spring with snow on the ground. The beaver pond was frozen. The camp site is right in the pond and I imagine there would be plenty of bugs in the summer. Not a lot of cover from wind but a very nice site. Could not see the tent pads due to the amount of snow on the ground.
