Acres of completely enclosed land for the dogs to run free. Open and wooded areas. Three separate mingling areas with tables and/or chairs Friendly and diverse population of dog owners. Issues only on rare occasions when owners don't understand nuances between dog personalities. Many dog owners bring extra bags to put in the mailboxes for those times we forget or run out. Water is not provided here, but owners are generally willing to share. On a particularly hot day, water may be scarce. Care should be taken on really icy or rainy (muddy) days. Parking lot and street parking, but watch for careless drivers from local apartment buildings. High vandalism area at times, so try not to leave valuables in the car. Connected to a huge family friendly park that includes basketball, tennis, skateboarding, baseball and soccer. One of our favorite dog parks.
Nice park, conveniently located near my house. My dog Jack loves the place and can wait to get there. Trails are not maintained unless public users take the time: build steps up hills, add a rope grip line, lay branches along side of trail so it does not washout, cut down weeds, and trim low hanging tree branches. Without someone doing these things the park would not be as enjoyable.
The paths are beautiful and naturally well kept, it's nice to have water stops everywhere. The nature is as good as any other dog park anywhere around. People and pups are 99% friendly. STP's best kept secret.
This place is fantastic! Wonderful off leash dog park with varying terrain and plenty of seating if you want to park your self in one place and watch the happy chaos unfold. Great dogs and owners makes for a lot of fun and very tired pups when all is said and done. We look forward to spending a lot of time here!
I like this dog park due to its size and openness of it. Some off leash dog parks can make me nervous because they are so big and have very secluded trails where your dog can run off and do who knows what. The people I've encountered there were very friendly and had a good handle on their pets. I would recommend this dog park.
