A great short walk, a long walk if you veer off the main trail, be respectful and don't leave trash as this is not funded anymore

Quiet, beautiful little piece of nature tucked away in Maplewood. So sad to hear that the building itself is closed and will no longer be staffed due to financial struggles but the trail is still a nice walk. Fun little kids area and the boardwalk across the pond is nice too. Wish I could bring my dog along but understand why I can't. I do recommend locking the car and not leaving valuables inside when walking as the parking lot is very secluded.

We had a fun times walking around the lake with friends. Reminded me of my days of girl scout camp. It was a fun relaxing walk with our littles.
