Cincinnati Municipal Airport - Lunken Field

Great place for a bike ride or walk especially on a cool day. Not a lot of shade but you can see planes take off and land, a big playground for kids of all ages. Lots of shelters where you can stop for a snack.

Cool airfield where you walk out to the jet near the runway to board. Small, private carriers. The building itself is art-deco with a bar and restaurant inside.nThere are air shows every so often. Neat to see the old WWII aircraft. Check it out.

I've always loved the history behind Lunken, and now that I've had the opportunity to fly in and out of here a lot, I appreciate it even more. It's well worth checking out if you're an aviation enthusiast, a pilot, or just someone who appreciates history. Don't forget the Sky Galley for a good meal too.

we have always loved this place brought my grandaughter and now my granddaughter ...lost my key fob the staff and friends of lunken helped me look for it ...much appreciated and the staff even fronted me our order until we got in our car...ty again

I love the place, and the property has a biking trail that I didn't know of. Wish I could get my pilots license.
