There was no clear signs directing us to the Como Falls. It has since become smaller. It is clean and well kept though but no swimming allowed and I saw tubes with water going into the falls possibly waste water from the neighborhood?...The good part is it is not crowded and only the locals frequent the place to walk their children or their pets. There are no public toilets provided.
Nice little hidden place. I've lived in Southeast Minnesota for over thirty years and never even knew about this waterfall. Plan to come back again for a picnic and a relaxing time with family members so that they can also enjoy.
Besides being convinced to eat one of the little red peppers that have by the bridge and burning the FRICK out of my tongue and somehow getting a wwodchip stick in my foor through my shoe (I thought wearing flip flops would be a good idea) I had a GREAT time. This park is absolutely beautiful! A small and beautiful hiking trail, a gorgeous waterfall, and a clean park with little to no litter made it all worth it.
A peaceful, nice place with a cool waterfall and a relatively short, marked walking path around it.
Nice falls with views of the towering bluffs in the area. It’s a very short walk to the falls.
