I went kayaking there, it was great! The water is so clear and the scenery is beautiful!
The lake itself is great. However every time I have gone it's more like going to Big Island on Lake Minnetonka. People treat the boat launch like a beach and attach their inner tubes to the dock. There are dozens of people just around the lake on varies pool inflatables in lovely shapes like giant blow up unicorns, giant rubber duckies and giant pizza slices. The yelling and screaming of flirty teenage boys and girl can be heard all over the lake as they take these monstrosities all over. This has happened EVERY TIME I've been no matter the time of day or day of the week. It's not a quite little lake for kayaking or canoeing anymore.
One of the best lakes to swim in! No big boats allowed.
Will be adding more photos but just beautiful and breath taking. Wonderful popular spot we pulled up pulled out the family and grill and started our day since 7am. You do not need money to have fun simply nature just does it. Family loved it will be here alot frequently during our summer.
