Amazing place nice and secluded

Pretty trails and natural area but the path is not paved and when we went it was extremely muddy and slippery. Quite a few close calls while walking because pet owners did not clean up after their dogs. Not a lot of signage--We ended up back-tracking because the path we were on was a dead ending at someone's property.

The trails are nice!! Just google the church. It will bring you to a strangers house if you google maps it. Other then that well kept trails.

Absolutely gorgeous old-growth forest. Not a lot of undergrowth here so you can see quite a distance into the forest. It's breathtaking here in the fall and very uncrowded. It's a wonderful place to explore with kids or in your own, if you're craving some silence.nnA few pieces of advice before you visit:n*Go to the bathroom before you come; there are no facilities here.n*The entrance is in the back of a church parking lot. If you're bringing a picnic lunch, be prepared to eat it in your vehicle or find a log to sit on as there are no picnic tables.n*I strongly recommend taking a picture of the map when you enter (it's located several hundred yards past the entrance). It's likely to be the only map you'll see. The trails are largely unmarked and it's very easy to get lost without a map.

Nice and quiet.nTake a picture of the map with your phone as you leave the parking lot.
