I made a copy of a key at the KeyMe kiosk in Menards. It was quick and easy. I'll definitely use the kiosk again.

Locked keys in car on labor day, they got a locksmith out in a timely matter and he unlocked the car in about 2 minutes. They charged $200 which seemed absurd for at most an hour's worth of work including the service call, driving and unlocking of the car. I was expecting it to be around 50 normally and 100 with it being a holiday.

I used the kiosk in menards to copy my mailbox key. That particular key was not im stock however it was still copied and I received it pretty fast. Was also offered a second copy for half price. i accepted. The kiosk is easy to navigate and understand. Prices were good. I was interested in a new key/fob for my car so I scanned it just to see the price. Price was definitely lower than most places to get car keys with chips however not quite low enough for me to purchase on a whim. But when I am in need of one I will definitely be coming back to a keyme kiosk. Also I believe it secureoy stored the scan for when i do decide to get one or if i lose mine i won't need one to copy it which is EXTREMELY NICE TO KNOW! The screen was not easy to use. The person before me and I had trouble navigating. Especially trying to add the free key.

Quick and easy for 3 new keys, no yap-yap.
