Over the past 7 years of traveling 3 or 4 months a year in our trailer, we have stayed at a lot of private campgrounds, and by far, very far, this is the nicest one. We are staying in the back on the sites, site 101 I believe, and it is beautiful. Trees, green grass, large spaces with lots of space between them. It is a couple of miles off the freeway, so it's quiet. But in 25 minutes we can be downtown. If you need a place in Minneapolis, this place is perfect!

We really do like it here. The biggest drawback is the sandy dirt roads. We have 2 larger dogs, and because of that and with the fall coolness and dew (or rain), their feet are always sandy dirty after a walk. It's really tough to keep our living space clean. We have towels & baby wipes we use each time, and it helps, but not enough. The owners are very nice and the location is beautiful and we do recommend it. Just be prepared for sand in your trailer/coach.

Rude management. Would not let our friends book open sites with a tent or put their tent on our site which has ample room for it. Apparently coronavirus is not spread by rv people, only by tent campers. Rv campers are using the open public facilities even though they could use their personal bathrooms. Not sure what their reason for the discrimination. They would not say, and very hard to understand on the phone. Management will not even come outside of hut to speak to us.

The campground was in good condition and well located on the edge of Maple Grove. Driving through, most sites looked nice and grassy, unfortunately ours had more dirt/gravel. The staff/owners were helpful and accommodating, even when requesting firewood well after store close!

1 pedestal shared for 2 sites.nAwkward if you are on the wrong side. Grass areas. No pavement. Motor home got dusty when we arrived.nA journey KOA should have paved roads, and pads.nBut the location to our friends was the closest RV park.nThe pictures show utility connections. Because most people only show scenery around the park, and area.
