Prairie Lake Park

Great neighborhood park for kids! The jungle gym is outstanding and the park itself is very well maintained! I visit often with my granddaughter.

The people at this location are always so friendly

After growing up in Prior Lake and walking to this park from his house tons as a child, my husband decided to bring our son to the park to fish. He parked in the normal parking lot with no signs saying you had to pay for parking. When he came back to the car, our car along with four other cars had parking tickets on them. He looked everywhere for a sign or spot talking about needing to pay for parking in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday in the summer, but found nothing but a pole with a bucket (which doesn't seem to be taking money for your parking anytime soon). If there was a spot that you need to pay, it was not able to be seen or used at the park that day. Ridiculous!

Always mostly clean (random articles of clothing are there once in a while, a pink cheetah jacket was there for over a week before I threw it out hoping a little girl may come back for it. It sat through rain and got really gross). Otherwise my son and I love it!
