Arguably one of the prettiest hikes in Minnesota. Beautiful forest, rivers, waterfalls and overlooks of lake Superior.
We love the Superior Hiking Trail. This unique section tracks above the Devil Track river about 200' above. A periodic opening in the trees reveals breathtaking views of the river below as well as the great lake Superior beyond.
I visited here with the grand parents when I was about 10. Lookin for pics from them. It was quite impacting for me. I'm now 44 and have thought of these falls every years since we visited. Can't wait to plan a trip there this summer.
Lovely area to hike
Gate way to the state park, which has wonderful trails.
