Great access to the saint Croix river and perfect spot for skipping rocks and having a picnic. It's also not super well known and that's nice too ;)
I love it here. The signs are very informative. I'm glad the site hasn't been trashed by vandals.

GREAT PLACE!! NICE RELAXING PLACE JUST TO CHILL!! RIGHT ON THE BEAUTIFUL ST CROIX RIVER!! BOAT LANDING AVAILABLE!! REST ROOMS ALSO!! HIKING TRAILS...
Very pleasant overlook. Fun place for kids to play in the sand, as there is a sandbar along the edge of the river directly south of this overlook. There's a built-in stairway to take you down to the water level.
