This is a great place to get away for a few hours. Nice winding quiet trails to hike on, and the tall pine forest is beautiful! Great views of the Mississippi on a calm peaceful stretch with a boat landing and several canoe launch spots. Worth the stop!
Very quiet park on a slow section of the Mississippi. Sites are moderate sized and well shaded. There is a short hiking path and interpretive signs but no swimming beach. Great for boaters, paddlers and those who fish.

Nice quiet park on the Mississippi River .nBring your own firewood. Kiosk was sold out. Site 6 is nice and open with trail entrance.
A hidden gem. So peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend.
