Went in on the morning of 1-28-21 and needed Ibuprofen and diapers. Found both items and they were marked as on sale. I get to checkout and the woman behind the register starts badgering me for my CVS card and then my phone number. I explained to her that I've had my CVS card for many years and have changed phone numbers too many times to possibly remember the attached phone number. At that point she just refuses to help me get the sale price and stares at me in a real unkind way until I leave with nothing. I guess if I want to get treated fairly I have to shop at Walmart.

At this CVS franchise, I have waited as long as six days to get a script filled. Very rarely is a script ready when promised. I have also been shorted on pill counts more than once and have even been given the wrong script more than once. When I called to inform them of the wrong script and would like to return it and get a refund I was told that since the script had left the store they wouldn’t take it back and there would be no refund.nI picked up another script two days ago and was charged $158.00. When I got home, I thought it it was somewhat pricey, so I went on GoodRX and compared this CVS on this drug with the other pharmacies in town...and I was shocked. CVS - $158.00, the other two pharmacies were $11.00 and $12.60 for the exact same thing. When I checked our other scripts with GoodRX, this CVS was much higher by as much as 50%.nI called CVS to see if they had somehow made an error...their response was pretty much... too bad, so sad.nI then switched pharmacies. The new pharmacy called CVS to get our scripts and they only released about 15%. The next call they were told they were too busy. The next day on the third call they were given only two more.nThe new pharmacist is undoubtedly the most arrogant person I have ever had the displeasure to meet. He is rude and condescending. The reviews on their own website are some of the worst I have ever seen posted for any company. And I am surprised that this CVS location is allowed to stay in business and dispense medical prescriptions.nBeware of this place.

I’ve been going to the Detroit Lakes CVS for years. Well in the last couple years they have maybe 1 employee that is actually good at customer service. I’ve been working in the customer service industry for over 20 years and I can’t believe how they treat customers. I’ve had so many bad experiences there. I was actually called in to have a job interview there but I couldn’t work with those type of employees!! Someone needs to educate them or just get new employees!!

Have had numerous problems with them. First I went to fill a prescription some months back and when I went to count it, I was given half of what the doctor prescribed. When I called I was informed that the pharmacist had “miss counted” since they had 30 more in there then they should have. Now recently I went to fill my prescriptions and the doctor had sent them in to be filled a few days in advance and they are still not ready in time. I either receive 500 text messages about my prescriptions or none at all letting me know that they are ready. Have never had problems with any other pharmacy.

This location has come a long way recently. New staff and a new pharmacy manager have done wonders.
