Country Campground

We were driving through in October from Oregon to Michigan and needed a place to stop just to sleep and hookup power for the night so we could heat our RV for our four month old. We called late at night around 8 pm and they were super nice and gave us a spot for a small donation.nThen they met us outside when we arrived and offered many spots for our needs.nCute campground. Great people. I would love to stay here in the summer if we ever come through again. Thank you!

Traveling from South Dakota back to Michigan found this campground and its owners to be very very professional and courteous. Nicely groom lands and very well equipped. Would highly recommend anyone traveling through the area!

Great place! They were closed for the season but allowed us to camp with electric hookup only. 50 amp. No charge, only asked for a donation. Very convient to town and very friendly staff. I imagine it's a fantastic place to spend the night during on-season.

We had a great stay at Country Campground! No swim beach at the campground, but Detroit Lake has a fantastic, mile-long public beach just 7 minutes away. Very quiet and peaceful campground, in a country setting. Lots of space for kids and grownups to play, including 2 playgrounds and a 9-hole chipper golf course. The owners are very friendly, helpful and willing to do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable.

Country Camprground is everything campgrounds used to be. Clean, with great landscaping and great ownership with actual service. We had a great 11 day experience and will make sure we return next season. Thanks
