Mi Cartagena Cafe

What an adorable little place with delicious coffee! We were in town for a couple days and stumbled across this place. Great view of the lake from the patio and the barista (and owner) WAS THE SWEETEST. She was an absolute joy to be around and totally brightened our morning! Thank you!

Mi Cartegena was a delightful coffee shop across the street from Lake Detroit. The barista/owner was so incredibly friendly and welcoming and the coffee was incredible. Such a gem of a place. I’d recommend to anyone!

Wonderful experience! First of all, please come and support you local business. Now more than ever they need your support. They are so very personable and sincere here. I was first greeted with a friendly Hello, and bright smile then a warm cup of coffee that really hit the spot on such a cool and windy day. There is quite the large drink menu, so I have no doubt that whatever it is you are looking for she will make it for you.

Excellent coffee! Imported from Colombia. Nice assortment of breakfast snacks. Beautiful view of the lake. Cheerful service. We had a relaxing time on the deck in the cool morning air. Bought some coffee beans to take home. Highly recommend this cozy spot by the lake! Great experience. Made a wonderful connection with the proprietor as our daughter in law is from Brazil.

The coffee was great with a friendly barista that made the little wait just fine!!
