Red's Savoy Pizza

Fondly remember eating Savoy's many times when I lived in the St. Paul area. Pizza has a unique sauce with a little kick to it and the sausage was in big, savory, bite-sized chunks. Amazing amount of topping compared to the crust. Even with the thin crust the pizzas are deceivingly heavy due to the generous amounts of cheeses and meats. We were thrilled to discover there was a new location in Blaine. Definitely take advantage of the Monday Discount and order a Red's House Special!

I really like their pizza. Thin and delicious. It is flavorful and has a little spice to it. Not like some of the pizza places around that are just bland and cheap. It is also pretty cheesy. This pizza also reheats pretty well.

For me the pinnacle of pizza was the original Savoy downtown St.Paul, there is nothing better. The satelite locations were never quite on same level.nnThe Blaine location is still good but I have tried this location 3x and its not up to par. The crust is thinner and a bit soggier and the cheese is lacking compared to what I am used to from Savoy. I would probably rate at 3.5 if I had option. It's better then the big chains but there are better options.

Customer service is severely lacking at this place. Food was good but while I was asking a question about their happy hour 5$ off I was being mocked by an employee in the back. Wish I could of got her name or she would of came up front but she would not. I guess that’s why she’s working at a pizza place in the back of the store. I know it means nothing to reds or the snotty employee but I won’t be back to this location.

Today, I placed my order at a busy time and there was a delay and in error, I received the wrong order. The manager on duty name was Casey (not sure if I'm spelling the name correctly). Casey was friendly, explaining the situation and taking accountability for the delay and the mistake made with my order. I greatly appreciate the painless and prompt action that was taken to make things right. I love this pizza and this location it was my 3rd time ordering with them but they have a loyal customer in me from now on. Casey deserves 10 stars for this situation and the replacement pizza was great! I highly recommend!
