Hajime sushi restaurant

First time here; definitely not the last. Walking in I was instantly starving, as it smelled so amazing. The hostess greeted me right away and took my to-go order. She was very friendly and helpful. It's a smaller restaurant but has a chic, relaxed ambiance. My order was ready quickly. The food was really great; fresh, crisp and delicious. Highly recommend this gem!

This place is so decadent! The sushi is always on point, but definitely don’t skimp out on the fried rice. Absolutely to die for! Their “yum yum sauce” is perfectly scrumptious. Recommended to just take some home for a late night snack.nnThis is definitely my preferred sushi restaurant in the northern suburbs!

Absolutely great sushi! Great service and prices reflect the quality work. Going to send any sushi friends I have there for now on! Most importantly their unagi is spectacular, a rare thing for sushi places.

Absolutely four stars. Some may balk at pricing, but the price here reflects the quality of what is served. There is only one word to describe my experience here. EPIC. the sushi and sashimi were fresh, served with delicious bits of pickled ginger. The teriyaki steak rolls stuffed with green onion were just a bit on the greasy side, and the flavor wasn't quite strong enough. The vegetable rolls were absolutely delicious and portioned just right. The squid was the perfect texture and flavor and was presented beautifully. Overall, the presentations were all quite lovely. The shrimp rolls were perfectly flavored, as the shrimp flavor should be delicate. The Japanese sodas complemented the meal perfectly and added a bit more to the experience. This was not just a meal in itself, it was an experience. The staff were exceptionally gracious and professional. I would highly recommend this place for a nice, quiet and unique experience.
