Gym is great... but lately there has been a massive influx of high school aged kids who stand around talking, hanging out, and have no concept of personal space when you're trying to finish a set. I started coming here because it was a first responder and veteran gym, but it feels like more of a theme now than a place to work out and be at ease with PTSD or anxiety. It gets very uneasy when you have groups of 4 or 5 kids standing almost on top of you when you're trying to work out.
I've been coming here for two years. The ONLY time I don't work out here, is when I work out on vacation. This gym is amazing. As is the owner and as is the staff.
Great facility that provides a comfortable atmosphere for all members. Victory Gym provides free membership for veterans and first responders as well as weekly PTSD group meetings.
I agree with everything that was said from Daniel Katzman. Another thing about these kids, they are not spraying down the equipment! Their mothers don't work here! Undisciplined children for sure! Update! Now these kids are in the gym not wearing their face protection properly. These kids are out of control! Even after the volunteer- gym attendant warned them. They continued to break the rules. Feels more like a high school gym! Same thing today..
Old school gym with such a cool vibe. Not a place for people that get “offended” by someone with a sleeveless shirt on. Veteran owned, professional, and nice people all around. Would highly recommend.
