One of the worst attorneys I have ever experienced. Waste of money, does little work, and is always late. Let’s just say I had to retain another attorney after she wasted my time and money. Shes never prepared and literally does nothing in court to defend her client. Beware!

I retained Ms. Rima El Zein to defend me in a divorce complaint filed by my wife. 5 months into the case, I had to retain another attorney as Ms. Elzein's help was mediocre to say the least. If you are serious about your divorce effort, please look for a different attorney from the start, if all you need is a show pony then she is the right counsel for you. One of my friends calls such attorneys Cartoon Lawyers, just a show pony that stands next you in front of a judge. Here's what happened in my case so you know what to expect: (1) Ms. Elzein was primarily interested in learning how much I am bringing in money to pay her each meeting as a primary concern. At the time of substituting her she had received $3250 from me and the only thing I got for this money was her showing up in front of the judge one time. She was one hour late on the conference with the judge, she did not respect my time, nor the plaintiff's or the judge. She had no good reason for being late. Worse still, the judge asked her one question about my case and she could not answer, I was defending myself the entire session while she stood silent next to me. I felt like I was the attorney not her. (2) No strategy. No planning. No Mail service for any document. (3) When I asked her to file an objection against assessed child support, she requested financial information from me, and asked me to meet with her. I looked for her the following week to find out she was on vacation, she filed the objection without my review of the document, against my request of her not to file anything in my name without me reviewing it first. when she came back, she sent me an angled view of the front page of the filed document via WhatsApp, until now, no service of any filed document. I am kept in the dark.nnI will try to keep this short now, more stories showing nothing but malpractice at its best.nnI would like to think that my case is an exception but the pattern of indifference to anything other than getting unfairly paid with overbilling while doing nothing, just claims of line items worked or researched.nnAs I outline my experience, or only part of it with this practice, I advise people to retain experienced attorneys not show ponies to win your cases. And she is not cheap either given how little work she does. She waits for a disaster to happen to respond. Other than that, on average she is on vacation with your money.nnThis message in its entirety is a statement of opinion. Please do your due diligence researching her work and asking friends or previous clients about this office to make the best decision for you. In my case, I would steer away from this office like the plague. I wasted my time and money there to end up spending a similar amount again to retain a professional counsel..
