For an Italian place I would have expected better. The olive oil was definitely diluted in canola oil, which felt cheap. The food was acceptable but not fresh and not worth the price in my opinion. Given other options in the area, you can find better for the price.

Food was excellent. The service was lacking. After we were seated, it took 15 minutes to get a glass of water that was asked for when we were seated. The waitress came back after serving water and said she would being back the bread. Another waitress came by and said you dont have bread yet? And she stated she would being the bread right back. The bread arrived after we received our entrees and we didnt get the olive oil. There was no apology offered regarding the slow service.

After hearing about this restaurant and seeing that it had a nice patio, we decided to give it a try. I got the 8 oz tenderloin, and it was a very high quality steak that would have been delicious had it not been marinated in something extremely salty. The potatoes and green beans were also very salty, and half of the green beans were really overcooked (brownish) but mixed with some that were cooker for much less time (to make the overcooked ones look better? Not sure)nI was really surprised at how poorly the food was prepared.nMy dining companion Had the scallops with risotto and green beans (that were also extremely salty, but at least they weren’t overcooked) the risotto was acceptable, but the beautiful large scallops would have been so much better had some of their natural flavor been able to be detected. Instead, they were a bit over seasoned and very salty.nEven if this was an unusual experience for this restaurant, I won’t be back. There are far better restaurants at this price point.

One of our favorite Italian restaurants! If your ever in the Canton/Plymouth area I highly recommend stopping by Compari's and trying there pizza and pasta. Always great service!
