Marie Pulte initial handled my divorce a few years back, she always kept me informed and made me feel confident about my situation. She has handled other legal matters for me with the same consistency. Marie is very personable,reliable and remarkably competent.

She was calm and articulate while opposing counsel was aggressive with threats, and knew nothing about family law. Marie Pulte handled my recent divorce. I cannot say how much I appreciated the hard work, diligence, and compassion from Marie! I am an Army Veteran with service connected disabilities, including Military Sexual Trauma, and I was divorcing a man who was still in the Army, Active Duty. Marie took the time to ensure that I understood every step of the process, and was endlessly patient with all of my questions and concerns. Marie was deeply compassionate, working hard to ensure that our minor daughter was going to be well supported by both myself and her father. My daughter’s wellbeing was at the forefront of everything that Marie did during this divorce process, as it should be! Marie was able to seamlessly help me work toward agreement while my ex was halfway across the country on orders, even accommodating for time changes, and sometimes working after hours. I feel like Marie went above and beyond in her duties, often taking the time to check on my emotional state after having difficultconversations with my ex. She also made sure that I had access to additional resources that would provide supportive services for both myself and my daughter. This entire process, as heart wrenching as it was, was made exponentially better by having Marie in my corner. Be very careful if using this person as a mediator in your divorce case. She does not follow Michigan procedures when there is domestic violence and abuse involved in your situation. She will let personnel with lack of substantiating documentation and evidence make any claim they want and then threaten you with the “wraith of the judge” if you happen to make more money than the other person.nThis was one of the most unprofessional settings I have ever been privy to and severely disgusted in the way Marie Pulte treated me in my case. As a solider suffering from PTSD from two wars, a victim of felonious domestic assault (also aggravating my PTSD), victim of a personal protection order and 4 years of severe mental and physical abuse I was never given any due diligence to my consideration during mediation with this person.nThe only factor Marie ever pointed out was that I made 30k more than my ex-wife and that the “judge would hammer me” because of that. She told me that the judge would not care about my PTSD or any other factors in my case due to the “colorful demographic” of Wayne County. She placed me under undue pressure to sign an agreement and purposely aggravated my PSTD just to reach an agreement.nWhen the document was being drawn up she purposely left verbiage ambiguous. My lawyer Kendra Holingsworth (Stelmock Law Firm) (I have also left a review there as well) was also very negligent during the entire situation as well allowing this to happen. They both agreed on language (without my consultation) into the agreement that they never informed me (had to attend mediation over the phone because of safety reasons) would be there causing me to lose an opportunity to recover legal fees for a restraining order violation by my ex-wife. Kendra and Marie both then pressured me into signing with little time for consideration because they kept claiming if I didn’t sign this the judge would take wraith on me.nI’m writing this for awareness that Marie Pulte is highly unprofessional and will stoop to the lowest common denominator to get you sign a deal and has no problem using undue pressure to get you to sign a deal. Be VERY careful when considering mediators as this person will not take any real consideration into your case “just because you make more money”. She will also not follow Michigan procedures if there is domestic violence and abuse involved in your situation.
