Good location but terrible customer service and rude staff. I don’t typically write reviews but the collection of experiences over the past 2 years regards to management culminated with their unwillingness to cancel a personal fitness membership that was frozen due to COVID. The only positive thing I can say about this place was that the personal trainers I worked with over the years were great. And the facility were also not the cleanest. Update: When I asked for headquarters number the manager responded with “they would say the same thing and have fun” yet headquarters was much more helpful and answered my concerns professionally.

Great instructors, very supportive. Very clean. I am enjoying these challenging classes, they are different than any other fitness class I have taken.

Use to love this place, now it’s the home of the chin diaper.. young and old privileged or ignorant people with no regard for others.. staff says nothing and the kids who run the smoothie shop never wear masks and run around the place like they own it.. will be canceling

Wish I can give this a zero star. Where to start usually when a machine breaks the gym fix it in a week, but not with Plymouth LA fitness. When a machine breaks they usually don’t fix it for a month.... not to mention the cable machine that hasn’t been lubed in years... The manager seems to not care about the facility, just seeing how dirty the gym is tells you. Also no ones at the front desk so anyone can just walk in.. smoothie shop that has the owner kid’s running is a joke. They are never in the shop, always finding them at the front desk talking away and never wearing a mask. Also that’s another thing they don’t enforce masks even though it’s the god damn law. Again this gym use to be great until new management came in.

I would never recommend LA Fitness. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We signed up with this club and after Covid hit, they automatically renewed membership without asking. Some people are not comfortable even at this point going to gyms. Other gyms in the area had the courtesy to ask their members before automatic renewal. They deducted a total of 600 some dollars and are refusing to return it saying it was in the contract. I think COVID 19 is an unusual and very challenging circumstance where large corporations should help their members and the people rather then act like bullies. We are both health care providers and cannot believe a gym, would do such a thing during a pandemic. It’s beyond my understanding. They should have asked if their members are comfortable renewing during a pandemic. Baffled.
