Grandma's RV Camping

This place was just fine for an overnight stay, clean and comfortable! Site was large enough for our 43' rv. The best part was how kind Gina (who was running the office) was to me as I waited in my car for 3 hours while my husband was having truck issues while hauling our fifth wheel on the highway. She went above and beyond and I was very appreciative! We will stay here while passing through again! :)

CLOSE TO SO MANY PLACES!!! **All these are within 25 minutes of campground:: Downtown Louisville, Ohio River, Univ of Louisville, Kentucky Derby at Church Hill Downs, Kart Kountry (the largest outdoor go-kart track in the U.S.), Frazier History Museum, Louisville Slugger museum, glass-blowing class with Mark Payton next to the Flame Run Gallery, UPS Air Hub, all the stadiums, and the World's Greatest Flea Market is right next door!n**Tim on the phone and Joe in person are very helpful. **Reasonable rates. Gravel sites, small patios, kind of close to one another but we were never there with so much to do. Bathhouses & laundry room (2 of the 4 dryers are out of order).nWe parked next to a cool Statute of Liberty (next to our site #12) which lights up every night. No frills park, which we like for the price. We will return!!n(And, yep, there are donkeys across the street in a field:)

Close to expressway and sites long enough for our rig. Yes you can hear the road traffic but we sleep with a fan which offset the noise. Check in was easy and staff was pleasant. Reasonable price for an overnight stay.

The woman in the office was very nice grandpa was a little grumpy. It's hard to get into the sites, very close and tight. We have 42' fifth wheel. The water connections are under ground in a tube, couldn't get a tight connection therefore it filled up with water and we had to unhook from water spicket. The dump tube was about a foot off the ground. Would not recommend.

Very clean And peaceful place. Easy to get into and out of . Very helpful And Friendly staff. A very nice experience will use campground again. Would highly recommend to anyone
