Blue water
This was a hidden gem of a park. Luckily I came acrossed it by accident (3-28-21). The road getting back to the park was rather bumpy. The parking lot itself was on the smaller side. There is a very nice 2 mile boardwalk that can be accessed from this park. I'm not from the area, but this park looks like a nice place to come to and enjoy your lunch at if you work near.
Wonderful in every season. Even if the lake is eating the boardwalk.
This was amazingly our first time on this boardwalk/trail. It was funded by the residents of Manistique through the city's Downtown Development Authority. It's approximately 2 miles long and is a mixture of a wooden boardwalk and paved surface. It begins/ends at the famous Manistique lighthouse. It's a very nice and pleasant walk along Lake Michigan that should be on your list of things to do when visiting.
Beautiful view. There are many places along the road to park and enjoy the view.
