It is a beautiful place to be in nature. We have loved it as a family and returned for my sons senior pics.
Been coming to this park since I was a kid. Wish they had a garbage so people would quit littering though!
Update 10/17/20: I stopped by real quick while in the area. Yay, they fixed the boardwalk! Just like old times now :)nnSad to see the broken boardwalk, but I still enjoy taking a quick nature walk through here while in the area. Overall it's a nice park. I love the garden they have.
This is a little spot in the town I grew up in that around this time of year u can put a nice red lipless crankbait on ur baitcaster and walk down to the river and make long casts with the shoreline about 20 feet out from shore and catch small mouth largemouth and walleye...ur only 200 yards from the dam oops I've said enough yup I caught a few but that's all I'm saying.
grew up coming here. Only wish they would completely rebuild the board walk. its the best part of the area.
