Dr. Croissant ruined my life. He did a failed back surgery on me (nerve damage) and I've been in chronic pain for 4 years now. He knew he did something wrong when I was screaming upon waking from surgery and they couldn't control my pain. They had to call pain management up countless times. I even had to stay longer in the hospital because of high blood pressure due to the fact that I was in so much pain. But he wouldn't admit he did anything wrong. I told another doctor about him and that doctor said he was to old to be doing surgery. Regardless he should have apologized. I'm in pain around the clock because of his mistake. He told my mom while I was in surgery that they were getting a bad reading from one of the screws that's why the surgery was taking so long. I'm only 38 and I am miserable. So Thanks Dr. Croissant! You should be a real man and apologize. It's not like I can sue you, it's past the 2 year limitations. Thanks alot...... ud83dude21

Neuro-Pain has been excellent in their treatment of me. The office staff has been helpful in getting information to my doctors when I can't reach them and answering any questions I have regarding billing or portal issues. My doctors, Marlene Hamama and Marc Wittenberg have been fabulous in terms of my care. Communications have been terrific. They discuss my treatment plan and always talk with me in terms of how things are going with me and about any changes that are taking place with my body. They always want to know what is working and not working so that we can make adjustments to my procedures and medications. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am a 35 year old female, who was born with genetic defects in my back causing increased pain as I age. I had been seeing a chiropractor since age 8 and when that wasn't working anymore I was referred to Neuro pain consultants almost 2 years ago. I went in feeling hopeful like some miracle was going to happen, but soon learned it takes time and a lot of patience. I was assigned to Dr. Honet, my first impression was he seemed unsympathetic and a little ridged. I started receiving injections in my lower back and after several attempts in several different areas, nothing. I was depressed losing hope, buy this time even going grocery shopping was almost impossible. I was also on pain medication everyday, which was hard to function on for awhile. The Neuro surgeon I had seen was certain that my pain was from a few bulging discs in my lower back, from what my MRI showed. At a certain point I was almost pleading with Dr. Honet not to do any more injections as they had been unsuccessful thus far. He then told me his reasons for continuing them, as I was doing my own research and told him my pain was not where everyone suggested it was. He said the reason for continuing the injections in different locations was maybe we just might find the right spot. So as we did a few more injections, he listened to me tell him where I thought my pain was and he made decisions on injection sites from there. Well this October the day finally came we found the spot!! I have hardly needed my pain meds and have not felt this good in the last 2 years!! My point to this long review is don't just leave everything in your doctors hands and get upset when it's not working. They see hundreds of patients, and as a patient it is also our responsibility to research, know your body, and help the doctors pin point the problem. They are not you, they cannot guess exactly what your feeling, unless you communicate with them. And as for my first impression of Dr. Honet, I had to learn that he is on my side and really wants me to get better, he's not there to coddle me. I'd rather have my doctor be to the point and rigid, than make a new friend that enables my disability. Over time I have developed an appreciation for Dr. Honet, he's very efficient and knows what he's doing. I would recommend him to anyone that truly wants to be well, or have quality of life. I feel he is a great doctor. Also a shout out to the nurses and staff at Neuro Pain Consultants, they have always been very kind and friendly to me as well!!
