We had a similar negative experiences with Gary Morof to those mentioned by other reviews. For instance, he was responsible for my mother's taxes and after her passing, he unresponsive to repeated inquiries for information. He filed her final tax return incorrectly. Furthermore he was appointed as trustee for my sister which he mismanaged. He was removed as trustee shortly afterward due to incompetence and lack of communication. I would not recommend Mr. Morof due to his unprofessional manner of conducting business. However, I would encourage the others who have commented here to reach out to me to discuss in detail your experiences in dealing with him.nnBe wary of the positive reviews posted here. As mentioned by other reviewers, Gary Morof seems to have manipulated his low Google ratings by packing phony reviews made by friends and family. I would not have commented if there weren't other negative reviews that corroborated my opinion.

Horrible follow up. Nice guy but I have over the past year called 15 times and emailed no less than 10 times and he NEVER returned my calls or emails. He has done my taxes for 20 years and this is how I've been treated for the last 3 years.nFind someone else. Trust me.

Gary has been handling our Payroll, business, and personal tax returns. Very smart in the tax law. knows what he is doing. He even does my Mother's tax return.

Trustee for my brothers estate.Was negligent with my brothers money,never distributed monies to my brother.Brother passed away without ever seeing any of his trust distributed to him.Had to acquire lawyer because mr. Morof would not release my brothers check that was never cashed or invested.Mr. Morof was ordered by probate judge to release check to me and ordered to pay half my lawyers fees.If your considering this CPA to manage your finances think real hard and if you dont believe this review check out probate judgement on Mr. Moroff which was final in March of 2018.Gary sat on a 50,000 check for 3 years my brother was terminal and he never gave one penny to my brother nor did he want to give me the 50,000 that was mine legally being I am the last living relative in the immediate family.Truley consider dealing with this CPA the risk is far reaching.Gary is my cousin think how he will handle your finances if your not blood.Mrs Gomez if Gary has been for your CPA for your company for years it's time you review his work and seriously investigate exactly what hes been doing all these years to your company.Gary has definitely pulled the wool over your eyes.His ex partner was shot and killed in the office Gary shared with him because of his shady dealings and you know what they say birds of a feather flock together,don't be fooled mrs Gomez.nObviously Gary has asked people he knows to add positive reviews to counter my review which brought down Gary's rating not realizing their reviews are masking underhanded accounting which sadly will mislead good people to do business with an accountant who has questionable business ethics.So people know my review is not out of revenge it is just a warning to folks I dont want to see swindled.
