They were able to take an abandoned baby groundhog that we found that was on brink of dehydration and wouldn’t have lasted much longer. Very knowledgeable and experienced in saving baby animals and returning to the wild.
We attended a workshop for our Girl Scout troop. Staff were very friendly and great with the kids!
Amazing place, rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing all sorts of native wildlife. They also run a fantastic education program with children and adults. Well run and deserving of your charitable donations!
Love the mission! The staff is wonderful and knowledgable. My only issue and the reason this place is great is that the public receives minimal interaction with wildlife allowing the animals to grow in a more natural habitat.
Nice place, nice people, parking is very tight when they have an event, but I'm not sure how large their normal events are. Either way, its worth the visit. The tickets to get in are pretty cheap being $6 at the place but I'm not sure what the online prepurchase price is. Don't feel bad about showing up late if you plan to be involved in the auctions they have because you might have to wait about 2 hours before the auction closes. Overall, a good experience and I got some nice photos from it.
