Wonderful facility... I was disappointed with the youth girls who decided to camp out at the top of the slide and told the children go away. Then some youth boys decided to climb on top of the play set and shake the tree tops. I find it discouraging they set such poor examples for the children present.
No handicap restroom facility or sinks for washing up. Also no baby changing stations. Just 1 porto-pot on the property and only 1 water fountain that I seen. May be indoor resteooms over at ball park concession stand but that's 1/4 mile away from Park area.
I was visiting the City Park, not the Skatepark. However, it looked like it had a lot of curves for jumping. I was surprised at how many young boys were out and about rather than at school on a Monday morning in early May.nAs far as the City Park, it has been converted to a little jewel hidden in our community. Nice new equipment, separate areas for toddlers, tennis court, and nice covered picnic areas. I was very impressed and will return with my gdchildren. All the rain we've had made the slides wet so next time I will bring a towel...my gdson loves to slide! Swinging, not so much. Lol
Strange design to the slide that requires a vertical climb. Not friendly for young children.nnLocation includes a drainage ditch. Mosquitos are TERRIBLE.
