Parents beware: this school closes so much, that your whole year’s vacay allowance are not enough to cover your kids-at-home days! Winter break are more than 2 weeks each year (you still pay the whole month’s tuition), snow days were 2 weeks last year, plus almost every month there are a couple random days here and there. No other daycare that we know of closes this much. We had to remove our kids simply because we couldn’t afford all these babysitting days at home and still keep our regular jobs.
Treat staff very badly. Looking for replacements before being fired for a loved one passing. Director is terrible and doesn’t have a heart. Teachers are wonderful though.
We have been very pleased with the experience of our son at this school and can not recommend the program highly enough. The director has a gift with children that one rarely sees and a solid business sense. Our child has developed excellent communication skills, social responsibility and kindness through the classroom interactions and is well on his way academically too. Midland Montessori has truly fostered in him a love of learning and the curiosity which accompanies that process.
My daughter started when she was 2 and she is now almost 4. She started out in Miss Sarah's class and she's great! She is now in Miss Marilyn's class and enjoys all the activities the school is offering. Amazingly the school has a very diverse demographics and my daughter can make friends from almost every continent!
First hand reports of rough handling of children were attempted to be covered up by middle management multiple times. Actions weren't considered to be textbook child abuse, but where way out of line for a child care facility nonetheless. It wasn't until then State became involved that the Board became aware. We removed our child immediately.
