A very nice park, both for kids and adults alike. Lots of equipment for kids to play on including basketball courts. Cute walking trails along the water, very nice gazebo! Stayed in Gwinn for a get-away weekend to explore the U.P. and was not disappointed!
Had a picnic. Beautiful weather and beautiful park. Kids playground and basketball court. Picnic tables and benches. Not sure if the bathrooms are open but they have thwm.
I love this park! I've been coming here since I was a kid. And now, I do not live in Gwinn, but when I come back, I find myself collecting my thoughts under one on the beautiful pavilions or along the river bank.
Really nice place, peaceful. I was not happy about there not being any toilet paper in the bathroom and the attendant had cleaned an hour ago. I made due with paper towels, still. Some people need to blow their noses amongst other personal care. One slight oversight.
Kids always have a great time there!
