A nice short hike to a beautiful view. Take the scenic drive to get to it. It is a great hike with some vigor needed. Many ways to get to the same view for less experienced hikers take the lowland path it is blazed with light blue and there is a dark blue blaze as well. Have fun stay on the designated trail as there are protected areas to the left and right of the trails. You may want to explore but there are plant species that need to stay there, so be kind and stay on the path and obey the rules. Happy hiking.
Amazing views everywhere...
This is a just over a mile loop that takes you to the top of the dune climb. Very sandy walk so be prepared. Kids can do it but it does take some energy. They can run down the whole dune or just part of it from the top. Very views of Glen Lake.
Better to park here and cut over to the top dune area than climb the giant dune at the dune climb parking lot.
Well marked trail! Important to know the trail is in route of the scenic drive. End up at the top of Dune climb so I would do one or the other!
