A beautiful walk in the wilderness. Not too long, not too short. It's nice that it's not a flat ground walk. Dogs are allowed as long as they are leashed. I went for a walk today and it was wonderful. So much wildlife and calming trails. I will definitely be back.
Pretty. Elevated view of Mud Lake. Good spot to consider if birding during waterfowl migrations.
Love this place, take my kids as much as possible, my boys love the big dock on the lake, they enjoy throwing sticks and rocks in the water, and looking for snakes and cool animals/bugs.
Tons of birds and we really enjoyed the cranes coming in to roost around sunset. I was happy to see Bluebirds. I haven’t seen any in a long time. Very easy, flat trails.
Nice wide trails,not much happening in Jan though. Nice deck that overlooks some water. Worth it!
