Great spot. Super friendly staff. Suoer delicious food. Visited from Houston a major food city so i can say this food is above average. We also did not expect this state to be as shut down as it was (visit was in December) so we were bummed out but the staff walked us through the menu, was very patient, and served us our food in the car out front. Will definitely visit again when in Lansing.

We certainly enjoyed lunch at Soup Spoon Cafe. My friend got the sampler, which included a sampling of 4 small soups. I should have ordered that.ud83dude44 Next time for sure. My only disappointment: No soup & sandwich combo, which would be a great addition to their menu.

Incredible! We ate here last week thinking we were in for a late night greasy spoon, and wound up having one of the most delicious meals we've had in a restaurant. The staff (Corwin) was knowledgeable and winningly friendly, every bite was delicious beyond expectation, our Manhattan was great, we payed less than the meal deserved, and our night was capped with a personal hello and thank you from the GM. Couldn't ask for a better dining experience , honestly. Five stars is an understatement.nnUpdate: we have now lived here a few years and eaten at the soup spoon many times. They continue to be outstanding, every single time. Even takeout today for my partner's birthday was great. Nothing short of wonderful.

I love Soup Spoon Café. Their wait staff is very nice. Food and desserts are good, particularly the sandwiches. The flourless chocolate Torte is to kill for! Their prices are high, BUT for the most part, the quality of the food that I had is worth it. I would recommend dine in at a table, as their bar staff isn't always friendly and to go orders can be sometimes lacking. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place.

Good food! But don't place an order online...they might not receive it! Placed two orders online with a few extra items I wanted, and they never got my first order (with all the main dishes). Had to wait in my car another 30 minutes. I showed them my email confirmation, and they still asked several times if I had completed my order.
