Really great food. It is really nice to see places like this move into Lansing. The customer service was great, they were helpful and friendly. I ate the chocolate croissant and it was amazing soft and flaky. The turkish omelets is spicy and full of flavor. Visit this place if your are in the area.

I was here two days ago and all I have to say this was the best Baklava I have ever had. My friend was excited to be able to re-experience authentic Turkish food and couldn't stop talking about how it brought back memories - what an amazing find in Lansing. Beautiful downtown cafe perfect for breakfast, mid-day snacks, and tasty handmade Turkish baked goods. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating to those who are familiar with Turkish favorites and those trying popular Turkish plates for the first time. Each item is made by hand, with love, and authentic Turkish ingredients and recipes in a clean and fresh kitchen/bakery. From breakfast to baked goods, every menu item is worth exploring. For a Turkish coffee or a casual bite, Social Sloth is a great choice. With indoor and outdoor seating options there is room for social distancing at the Social Sloth. Highly recommended place to visit—and frequent!

Our family LOVES Social Sloth. The owners are magnificent people who take the time to share with us each of their Turkish treats. Everything we’ve ever had from them is absolutely amazing, and our daughter asks to go see the Sloth all the time! This is a must stop when near Lansing!

The Social Sloth is a breath of fresh air to the Lansing area! Its cozy atmosphere, unique menu and delicious Turkish fare is a welcome addition to the area’s glut of restaurant franchises. The owners prepare everything from scratch and treat their customers like family. I have enjoyed everything I’ve tried, especially the baklava (best I’ve ever tasted) and the ravioli. They also offer GF sweets.
