My dad loves to fish, and this place is just such a pretty spot on the river! I personally enjoy walking up and down the paths... However it would be nice if people didn't just leave their trash on said paths.

Kayaked the flint river for the first time. It was pretty but some rough terrain to navigate.

While a rather small parking area. And no porta potty. Launching a kayak or canoe is tricky no slope. The down river run to the Irish rd. Site is awsome passing under the footbridge in Richfield park is a bonus this is The Flint river. The opportunity to see wildlife of all kinds is abundant. If sum parking upgrades were done and sum clearing for a launch were done would be 5 star

Would diffently give this place a 5 but it gets tiring cleaning up after people. I take my kids here to fish but it's a nightmare seeing all of the garbage everywhere. Was just there tonight and was at least 10 containers of chicken livers, 5 containers of worms and at least 20 lids just laying around...
