It's been a while since I've been here, and I gotta say that they have upped their game! It was nice to see them back to their old system of tables with names. I remember being there as a kid and them doing that.nnFriendly service, great food and very clean!

The coffee is incredible and I make a point to go here instead of Starbucks to show local business some love. I’ve Been disappointed twice with the attitude received by the staff. It is too easy to be nice during a 10 second transaction. 5 stars when it comes to quality of coffee.

Very good and quick breakfast joint right off the board walk. Had the egg muffin sandwich with spinach, cheese, and bacon but asked for it to be on sourdough bread. Delicious! Also had the milky way frappe over ice and it was exceptional.

Petoskey local. Even though they would pretty much always give me a to go cup when asking for a mug, I would frequent here, not for the coffee, it's never been good, but to run into friends, and enjoy being in town drinking coffee. The service is so bad these days it's unbearable. The staff will look you over with disdain and shun you like you just awoke them from a restful nights sleep in the middle of a comforting dream. They are afraid of their own shadow and will treat you like a leper daring to even look at them. Worst food service in town. Also overpriced small portions of inconsistent food that's gone downhill over the years. They think they're the best in town and if you disagree you're wrong not them. They can't see the forest through the trees. Complete failure from what used to be a pleasant experience.

Maybe we just had a fluke of a bad experience, but the staff working the counter were not exactly nice. We told them we had three people with us and when the third person stepped up to order, the guy stopped ringing us up and turned around walked away, came back a minute later and started helping the person behind us. They made us feel like we didn't belong and they were going to let us know that. I don't know, maybe it is because I'm not a hipster gen z kid or something. Oh well. Plenty of other places to go. Edit- But the food and coffee was good. :) I appreciate the reply from the owner. Bumping the review from 2* to 3*. I'll try it again the next time I am in town.
