This was the most amazing star filled night. Perfect sunset viewing. Some astronomers had their high-powered telescopes there and we were able to see the position of Saturn and of Jupiter. We could see Saturn's rings and we could see Jupiter's moons. So for sunsets and stargazing Donegal Bay is amazing.
Donegal Bay is perhaps one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever had the privilege of spending a day on.
One of the best places to go on this island and watch the sunset. The view is nearly unbeatable. Definitely check it out and go for a dip in the water. Usually it's slightly warmer than the harbor at the public beach.
Donegal Bay on Beaver Island is a beautiful spot to look out onto Lake Michigan, occasionally watching a freighter off in the distance.
Beautiful rustic shoreline. Great place to walk. Shallow and Sandy. Beautiful sunsets!
