Solid beginner trail. We took the 1 mile (1 mile each way) trail to the lake Michigan overlook. Bring bug spray if theyre in season.
Nice easy hike to the beach. With so many hikes within the sleeping bear dunes this one is good, but there are better.
The big bowl of sand near the end of the trail is always a favorite of my kids.
Need to use the rest room ,better do it before you get here, worst mess in a bathroom ever .....other that that nice walk beautiful beach
Beautiful area. No challenging hike here. Beautiful woods, lovely shoreline, some picnic tables, and most of the time, relative solitude. Sleeping Bear has something for everyone.
