I'm deaf so I went to this place twice so far. The barista named Avery. She got A + grade for the customer service! : ) We communicated through writing the notes with no problems. Thank you for treating me so well. Blueberry muffin is so tasty, it never fails me every time I get one here. Yummy!

I love live oak so much! I go often to both locations. The atmosphere is always cozy and the employees are really nice. You can tell that they are treated well by their employer!nnI follow them on social media and they are always giving shout outs to other businesses in the area, they like to give free coffee to local businesses as a pay it forward kind of thing, and they always recognize their employees for going above and beyond, and wish them a happy birthday on their birthday!nnLive oak will always have a special place in my heart!nnAlso their syrups are made in house and fabulous! Not too sweet, and not artificial tasting! They also have some really yummy hot chocolate! One of my favorites and I've tried many in my lifetime!

Such delightful staff and atmosphere! I'm partial to their lavender latte, which has been exquisite whenever someone there has made it. I cannot recommend this coffee shop enough.

Very aesthetic and cozy coffee shop. They have a satisfying and reasonably priced coffee, and I enjoyed the homemade oat bars. The name of the cafe, as confirmed by the barista, is based on the live oak trees you see in the Carolinas, which have big beautiful limbs that spread far and wide create big canopies. I used to live in Wilmington, NC so this reminded me of my prior home. The inside reflects the name by having a lot greenery and a variety of comfortable places to sit. Great spot for a Saturday morning pick me up

We stayed next door at the Marriott. We are always hesitant to try local coffee houses as sometimes they are just too inconsistent. So we typically go Starbucks.nnThis place was phenomenal. It gives us hope that more local coffee houses can be even better than the corporate chains.nnWould highly recommend
