Most definitely worth the wait. I stopped by a few times and there was a line around lunch and even dinner time. Gotta get the root beer float and a hot dog! Great service, nice place to sit outside, and lots of umbrellas to stand or sit under.

Best chili dog ever. My teenager got the Rhino Dog (chili and Mac and cheese on top) and said “you know it’s a good hot dog when you have to eat it with a knife and fork!” Great root beer floats too. Beware of bees, though.

Great treats and fun for the whole family. Friendly staff and a decent sized menu for a unique little place. They do only take cash or check, but they are open from noon or so until sunset, so way past 7:00 right now in the summer. The display about the history and restoration of the barrel is neat too. Worth a visit!

Great street side stop. Highly recommend getting a float and loaded hotdog here. The owner is extremely nice.

So while in the Douglas area we came across this little gem.nLong line , must be good,so we had to stop!nCan’t say we were disappointed at all.nThis old barrel serves some great dogs/brats several different ways.nIce cold root beer and floats plus additional treats.nFamily of 3 For dinner was about 28.00nNot to bad.nThe sitting area was nice, all COVID standards followed. People did great wearing mask and social distancing.nStaff very friendly.nI think Nick is who I talked to, great dude even gave the daughter a free cookie.nKeep the history alive and stop for a visit and get a Dune Dog.
