Tails N Trails Dog Park

It is large, but needs renovating.nThere is a large and small dog zone, and a very short trail to isolate if needed.nThe toys and equipment here are old and dirty, and there needs to be better poop management since some owners are simply lazy. Otherwise my Elkhound has a decent time here running with a couple dogs and sniffing the premises.nThis is a concern for all dog parks, but beware of sick/untrained/aggressive dogs. I have seen all of them here. This is why I typically avoid dog parks now.

Great park, our dog especially loved the off leash trail area. It's a bit muddy so bring a towel! Was hoping to see a donation box to contribute, but we didn't find one.

Secure dog park. Fresh water hose. Lots of space. 2nd fenced area forbsmall dogs.. Great place for Fido to romp.

Our favorite! Lots of shade for sunny days and places to sit. The big dog side is fairly large. The wooded hiking trail is nice. My dogs love playing here. All the people I've met here have been really responsible dog owners. We like to come here and let our dogs burn off some energy and get warm, then we drive north to the dog beach so they can swim and cool off. Makes for a great day trip!

The fenced in open area is pretty typical of other dog parks but what sets this apart from the others is the wooded area. The dog loves to run around following scents in the woods.
