This was an unexpected treasure! It looks like a small city park when you first park, but the trails meander quite a ways along the river. Quiet, too. We only saw a few other people while we were there.
My uncle took me ice fishing here when I was in 5th grade. Still rustic and wooded.
A beautiful spot for hiking along the river. Great for spying color change in the fall, too.
Nice trail walk. Plus swings and a field. Could use a trail map, though.
Traffic is loud due to being by the highway but it is out of the way and not too busy. Grass is always maintained and the parking lot and park are clear of trash which is appreciated!
