Bysterveld Park

Bysterveld Park has a playground for the kids, a huge pavilion for those family get-togethers, and three hiking trail loops that total just over a mile to walk all three. The North Loop can be missed as you can see and hear more of the highway and less of nature. The Middle Recreation Loop is the most scenic equipped with an overlook to a pond and abundant in wildlife, where you can also fish for bluegill and catfish. The South Loop is the largest of the three and winds through a forest. The trail itself offers wide footpaths of pavement, gravel, and boardwalk terrain going through different intervals of wetlands and forest. This may not be Yankee Springs, but this little haven is definitely worth seeing, so go on and take a hike!

Me and the family checked this out to take a hike and we really enjoyed it .it very well marked and it has intervals of boardwalk, pavement, and gravel foot paths. It's 1.2 miles if you do all 3 loops. Its a beautiful walk in nature and you can walk off some pounds you put on from eating to much at Thanksgiving dinner lol.

Great park with a big figure 8 type of loop through the park for it’s walking trails. Also has a nice play ground and some open area for grilling/picnicking. Pretty wooded areas as well as a nice pond with a overlook.

Nice place but better you should bring some form of protection. The hicks around there will often let their dogs out without leashes. Been nipped at by this kids german shepherd. Then threatened by the boy. So be careful.
