I like to off season. At the upper parking area I can just look out over the the water in peace. I remembered when I sit at the bow of the ship. I I could look more than 120 to the port & starboard and only water , porpoise's, flying fish and if we were close enough to land some birds.
Beautiful harbor that is peaceful and engaging. Playground for the kids and sitting area for adults.
Wanted to watch the sunrise this morning over Lake Huron. This beautiful harbor was the perfect spot. Nice bench overview of the harbor. The moon and Venus were bright in the sky too.
One of the best places to visit nice place and people come and visit dock your boat and enjoy.
One of the nicest (clean, well kept and constructed) docks we have experienced on our America's Great Loop trip
